Jamaica;s Gymnasts In Bid For Rio Medals


At the London Summer Olympics Jamaica produced  amazing athlete becoming the world’s fastest man. The one and only Usain Bolt represents Jamaica as he stunned the world claiming to be the first man to hold both the 100 meter and 200 meter world records. He and his teammates also set the world record in the 4×100 meter relay. 

University California Los Angeles Gymnast Danusia Francis, wants the world to see what Jamaica can do in the sport of gymnastics. Another gymnast Toni-Ann Williams who won her third consecutive Pac-12 Freshman/Newcomer of the Week award, (2 February 2015 ). Both hope to make their country proud by representing Jamaica in next summer the Olympics, Rio de Janeiro.

Jamaica is also looking at British-born Jamaican gymnast Reiss Beckford to join the men’s team.
Their goals, to make their dreams a reality.
