2014 Youth Olympic Games in Nanjing (CHN

The FIG Disciplinary Commission opened six procedures against Men's Artistic Gymnastics judges and four against Women's Artistic judges who officiated at the Youth Olympics competition.
One case is still pending because the hearing had to be postponed, while the other nine decisions were recently rendered, and the federations and judges concerned have been informed.
Taking the youth of judges at the Youth Olympic Games into account (Gymnastics judges at the YOG are not older than 35), the Disciplinary Commission made the decision in five of the nine cases not to sanction the judges but nevertheless reminded them that they should certainly stay attentive and pay close attention also in the future.
Four of the nine judges -- Mr. Martin Passalenti (ARG - Men's Artistic Gymnastics); Mr. Aliaksander Vaitovich (BLR - Men's Artsitic Gymnastics); Mr. Panyiotis Shippi (CYP - Men's Artistic Gymnastics) and Ms. Xiu Jun Thong (SIN - Women's Artistic Gymnastics) received warnings, mainly for favouring gymnasts from their own countries.
The judges have the right to appeal these decisions within 21 days.
