Kristle Lowell of Three Rivers, Mich., the defending World champion for
women’s individual double mini-trampoline, is unable to compete at the
2014 World Trampoline and Tumbling Championships due to injury. Lowell
suffered a deep tissue sprain while training at the U.S. Team’s
preparation camp last Friday and has been unable to properly prepare for
this week’s Championships. Lowell has been receiving treatment on the
ankle, but based on her limited ability to execute routines, the
coaching and medical staff agree that it is unsafe for her to
participate in the competition.
We pray for her recovery soon.
