During the final stages of preparation towards the upcoming World Championships Luke Carson suffered a devastating blow. He shattered his left tibia, The injury, sustained in training for the forthcoming World Championships, is a re-occurrence of the break that ruled Lisburn-born Carson out of last summer's Olympic Games in London.the same tibia which a year ago he underwent surgery and treatment. .
He is in a full leg cast, with the medical team hoping not to have to operate but clearly his gymnastics career is in doubt.
