British Team Confirmed to the Worlds 2013 - Antwerp

The British gymnasts  have been confirmed with a host of Olympic heroes and  some of the sport's rising stars.

The MAG’s team are 2012 Olympic medallist Max Whitlock,  Daniel Purvis, Sam Oldham and Kristian Thomas. Daniel Keatings,  and Ashley Watson complete the line-up.

The WAG’s team are Ruby Harrold,  Rebecca Downie  Hannah Whelan and Rebecca Tunney.

The 2013 World Championships are the first following the Olympic Games. By tradition, this format of championships shows the refreshed picture of the sport with the new Code of Points (rules) being introduced and a generation of new stars emerging.  The championships are individual only; there will be no team event and each Federation may enter a maximum of 6 male and 4 female gymnasts, but no more than 3 gymnasts may compete per apparatus( pic: : Ruby Harrold
