The most decorated gymnast in British history, Beth Tweddle, announced her retirement. With an Olympic bronze, three world titles and several medals Tweddle European farewell to the gym. With already 28 years old, always be remembered for her country place on top of the gym.
Beth began her career as a complete gymnast, ie competing the All Around. Something happened to the global 2007. For the Beijing Games decided to specialize in Floor and Uneven Bars (best event) and never got great difficulty in Vault and was a bit inconsistent in the balance beam.
Everyone remembered as in 2008 she came within one step of the podium , and as in the Olympics managed to take home her long awaited medal.
Power, difficulty and elegance could define this gymnast, but what made it so dear Beth was her great perseverance. She continued until she achieved her dream, an Olympic medal.
