"Romanian Junior Gymnastics"
The best 20 gymnasts from Romania between 9 and 11 years old are currently training in a training camp in Deva under the command of Liliana Cosma. The purpose of the training camp is to evaluate the gymnasts abilities and to upgrade their skills.
Adrian Liga manager of CSS Cetate Deva stated: “Starting from July the 11th, CSS Cetate Deva will be the home for the level IV gymnasts, the ones that represent the future of Romanian gymnastics. There are 20 gymnasts picked by the Federation and 10 couches from their clubs. They are all working under the command of Liliana Cosma, the head couch of Romanian Junior Team. Besides their usual 2 training sessions per day, the little gymnasts are getting used to Deva tradition and the experience of training along with the gymnasts from the actual Junior Team. After this training camp, the best gymnasts are added to the Junior team and the others who still need to work on their skills will return to their clubs for further training”
THE MEDAL OF TANTALIDI IN SIDE HORSE SENDS MESSAGE TO THE FUTURE

Oblique The horse is the only one of the six bodies of men gymnastics, in which Greece has not yielded a medal at world or continental championship to date.
2013 Secret Classic
For being the year after the Olympic games, I was impressed with the difficulty level and amount of unique skills being thrown at this competition. Although there were a lot of falls and mistakes, this is only the first meet in the summer elite season and I'm sure Nationals will go a lot smoother.
In the junior session, it was great to see all the up and coming talent and future stars of USA Gymnastics. As many expected, Bailie Key of Texas Dreams won the all around title despite being sick and almost withdrawing from the all around competition.

World Team Predictions- USA
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u3egqEDn8t4
With the new quadrennium under way, it's an exciting time in the gymnastics world. This is the time where many new faces emerge and decisions are made from the stars of the past. With two returning Olympians and several new faces that show tremendous potential, creating the perfect four member World team will be a difficult task for the national team staff. Here are our picks for the 2013 United States World team.
Simone Biles
Kyla Ross
Brenna Dowel
Mckayla Maroney
Simone Biles
A name that seems to be appearing on everybody's world team prediction is Simone Biles. If Simone can avoid injury and stay consistent in these next few months, she is most definitely a lock for the USA team. Simone currently holds the highest all around score out of every gymnast this year, with the 60.400 she posted at Jesolo, which proves that she is a true all around contender. Simone could also contend for a spot in the vault and floor finals and could easily medal if she hits.

Farewell to a legend of Gymnastics. The Federation of Tokyo, the Japanese Gymnastics Association (JGA,) informed the sporting world of the death of one of its oldest and most famous Olympic champions: Nobuyuki Aihara, defeated by the disease on July 16 at the age of 79 years. At 26 years Aikara, along with Masao Takemoto, Takashi Ono, Yukio Endo, Shuji Tsuru, and Takashi Mitsukuri put an end to Soviet domination at the Games in Helsinki in 1952 and Melbourne four years later. Olympic Gold Roman 60 ', a specialist said the body was free. After the victory in teams of Rome, just four years before the Games of the Rising Sun, Japan did everything possible to curb the rise of Russian and defend the title won four other medals in 1964 (TOKYO), 1968 (MEXICO), 1972 (MONACO) and 1976 (MONTREAL). A past example that of the gymnast born December 16, 1934 in the prefecture of Gunma. At the age of 15 he discovered the Artistic Gymnastics, building a successful career. First Olympic medal was to Melbourne (1956) where it won the team gold and silver to the ground. In the same specialty, then, would be crowned world champion in Prague in 1962. In 64 'Toshiko bride, not a gymnast whatever, but a member of the Women's National Team in the 60' -62 'and 64'. That same year, she would be the first woman to win a medal at the Olympics (bronze) with the Japanese team. Aihara In 1979 he founded his company, Aihara Gymnastics Club, leaving the reins to his son Yukata, already the bronze medal at the World Championships 91 'in Indianapolis and team bronze at the Barcelona Games in 1992. Japan greets a gymnast of rare quality. Perfectly calibrated to the point of being nicknamed "Gym Machine" by his countrymen. Always focused during the races, Nobuyuki had earned the respect of all his colleagues.Small in stature and curved legs, despite being at a disadvantage compared to the taller runners has always worked hard overcoming every obstacle. With him is an important pillar of Japanese culture, kept alive - even today, by the talent of his successor Kōhei Uchimura.

2013 American Classics
Although Classics is usually a splatfest, it will still set the stage for the worlds team. Gymnasts like Mykayla Skinner though can't afford falls if they are to really prove themselves in the running, especially as she has a reputation for inconsistency anyway.
USAG have confirmed that podium training will be streamed. On Friday, juniors at 9:30 Eastern Time (so 14:30 GMT, 15:30 GMT+1) and seniors at 12pm Eastern Time (5pm GMT, 6pm GMT+1). On Saturday, competition day, juniors will kick off at 1pm central time ( so 7pm GMT, 8PM GMT+1) and seniors at 6pm, again central time (11pm GMT, 12AM GMT+1). USAG are promoting the two days in eastern and central time respectively so I kept it that way to avoid confusion, just keep an eye on the actual timezone they list. Streaming will be on www.secretclassic.com
