Malaysian Gymnastics Federation Level I - Coaching Course

The teachers training Institute of Malaysia with the co-operation of the Malaysian Gymnastics Federation conducted the above course at the, National Sports Council Gymnasium III, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia,  from 23rd - 28th September 2012.
 A total of 18 instructors  from the states in Malaysia went through  the FIG Age Group program includes a testing and monitoring program for MAG and WAG physical abilities and technical skills as well as a complete multi-level competition program with modified rules for age-group gymnasts and compulsory exercises for all ages.
 It also includes a variety of additional information related to developing a systematic gymnastics program that can lead to high performance.

AEON CUP 2012 - TOKYO

The last weekend of September ( 28 - 30 ) the traditional  " AEON CUP 2012"  will be held  in Tokyo, Japan.
 20 club teams representing 18 different nations will come to participate at this international top highlight of rhythmic gymnastics five weeks after the Olympic events in London.
Among their club teams will start also the three Olympic medalists: 
Olympic champion Evgeniya Kanaeva (RUS) andDaria Dmitrieva (RUS) from the GAZPROM team andLiubou Charkashyna from Byelorussian DINAMO team.

The "AEON CUP "is a  worldwide Rhythmic Gymnastics Club Championships - an international high level  team event.
The team system consists of : 2 elite (senior) gymnasts & 1 junior gymnast.Good luck to the best team.

EVGENY GREBEN - WAG HEAD COACH

The Sovietsky Sports announced that the Russian Gymnastics Federation fired their WAG team  Head coach Alexander Alexandrov. The decision was made because he is Allya Mustafina's  personal coach.He will be replaced by Evgeny Grebenkin 44 years old from Volzhski,specialist bar coach for the Russian Team.

Gymnastics is not like athletics, where technique is taught by one coach and then the  athlete runs. WAG  has four events and each event has a  specialists. The Head Coach must organize work not to teach, The organization failed under Alexandrov.

We hope he will bring the Russian team back to a similar point in the all around and team stakes.

FESTIVAL OF THE SUN 2012 -HAPPY GYMNASTICS

With a colorful and breathtakingly and beautiful closing ceremony ended some stirring days of the 11th Edition of the "Festival of the Sun 2012" in Riccione, Italy, near Rimini.
Even on the last day there were many places and events group stage performances and programs of the participants from many countries that had a big public appearance.
The focus of this 11th Festivals were but - apart from the diversity of creative movement -  the meetings of the representatives of active and dynamic European youth. 
This Festival del Sole - one of the founding member of the community " European GYM Festival" (EGF),  is a living example of cultural integration of the continent.

37th International Leverkusen Cup 2012

 The 37^th "International Leverkusen Cup 2012" was held at the SMIDT Arena, Germany

Last minute cancellation of some countries five teams from four nations offered the approximately 1,000 spectators an exciting gymnastics competition!
At the Olympic disciplines "vaulting table, uneven bars, beam and floor" this year launched an international field with two selections from Germany, from England, the Netherlands and from South Africa in the Smidt ARENA.
 England took the lead. The British womenhas been at  this Leverkusen's top event and at last swon the Trophy - 101.55 points, Germany II silver 96.20 points and  Germany I 95.80 points
