Chusovitina ( UZB ) is a role model and an inspiration.

Gymnastics phenomenon Oksana Chusovitina began gymnastics in 19982. At 13 she won the all-around at the USSR National Championhips Junior  Division. Her career moves  fast forward. She is the only of only two female gymnasts to compete at the Olympics under three different national teams that is USSR,Uzbekistan and Germany.

Chusovitina's career in elite gymnastics has spanned more than 20 years. Oksana has competed in 10 World Championships and holds the record for the most individual world championships medals on ONE event.

Chusovitina is also one of only a handful of women, along with Cuban Leyanet Gonzalez, Soviet legend Larisa Latynina, and Dutch Olympian Suzanne Harmes, to return to high-level gymnastics and international competition after becoming a mother

She loves tumbling and vaulting except Uneven Bars. She is training on all four events but will only compete on Vault and Beam.

Her advise “ Never give up and always aim towards your own goals”

We wish her Good Luck in the competition.
